At the completion of this seminar, the successful student will be able to do the following:
- Use the XMLHttpRequest and JavaScript to update a page without a page refresh.
- Use JavaScript and DOM with AJAX to manipulate the structure on a web page.
- Work through several examples using AJAX such as a mini chat room, drag and drop, scrollovers, polls, check for username availability, RSS reader.
