Welcome to Physical Science 111 — General Course I. Class meets from 1:00 pm until 3:25 pm on Monday and Wednesday in Room 3974. Class begins Wednesday January 20th. This is a general science course for non-science majors. We spend the first half of the course studying Geology. We then divide the remaining time between the study of Meteorology (weather) and Astronomy.

Introduction to the scientific method, astronomy, geology, meteorology. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course.
Credit Hours: 4, 3 lecture hours and 2 lab hours per week based on sixteen weeks.
