Slime is made from Poly Vinyl Acetate, contained in conventional "white glue" or "Elmer's" glue. Simple, supermarket-style "Borax" (sodium tetraborate decahydrate, Na₂B₄O₇^.10H₂O) - serves as the cross-linking agent.
